This is a preliminary version of what I hope is a larger work. I was trying to do a painting of the bridge that captures the transition between summer and winter and just that beginning of the sun setting. I loved the way the underside of the bridge picked up the reflected color of the dry, colorful brush, and the whisper of color in the sky.
