Back when I was a undergraduate Botany Student at Cal State Los Angeles, I took a photography class and one of the assignments was "movement". I took the assignment seriously and took a series of photos of the "Botany vs. Zoology" flag football game. The guy with the glasses is now the curator of the Herbarium at UCLA. Later, when I had taken up painting, I re-interpreted the black and white photo into this painting.
