On the Tejon Ranch near the southern end, is Little Sycamore Canyon. Not a deep riparian canyon, it hosts majestic sycamores within sight of the desert expanses below. This sentinel is the largest one that I found there. It has extensive heart decay, but still puts on its necklace of foliage each spring.
